Ford has announced today their upcoming electric pickup truck will be called the F150 Lightning. The F150 Lightning is set to debut next week on May 19th at 9:30PM ET on Ford's social channels. Ford's CEO, Jim Farley, noted in a press release that the F-150 Lightning will be able to power your home during an outage, acellerate quicker than the V8 F150 and should provide more than 300 miles of range.
