preventative maintenance goes a long way...
Maintaining
you vehicle is an investment that will pay dividends in the form of
improved reliability, durability and resale value. It
is your responsibility to see that all schedule maintenance is performed
on your Lease or Rental vehicle.
Failure to perform regular maintenance specified by the manufacturer
or Zeemac can result in voided warranty coverage
on parts affected by the lack of maintenance and increases the cost
of repairs. Normal scheduled maintenance recommendations
from the manufacturer should be followed, but we at Zeemac also know
the
type of application you are using the vehicle... so we know if there
is any additional maintenance you should be aware
of..

- Worn Brake Parts - Postponing needed brake service/repairs, in addition
to being a safety hazard... can and will increase cost of brake repairs.
- Tired Windshield Wiper blades - Don't wait until it rains
to replace wiper blades.
- Burnt out Lights - Can you see and can you be seen? Check
your lights regularly to be sure.
- Clogged Filters -
Scheduled replacement of air, oil, gas, fuel, transmission, etc.. filters
maintains reliability and performance.
- Worn Spark Plugs -
Worn plugs wastes fuel and increases exhaust emissions, and cause the
engine to run poorly.
- Corroded Battery Cables -
Corroded cables and a weak battery cause starting problems. Have battery
and your charging system checked out if the engine is turning over
slowly.
- Glazed Belts/Rotten Hoses -
A slipping belt can affect engine cooling, alternator, power steering,
air conditioning systems. Replace worn/cracked belts, brittle or rotten
hoses can lead to overheating, performance and safety.
- Neglected Cooling System -
Periodic servicing of the cooling system helps prevent deterioration
of radiator or heater core.
- Leaking Shock Absorbers -
Worn shocks or struts affect ride control and increase tire wear.
- Damaged CV Joint Boots -
These rubber boots protect the critical CV joints that deliver power
to your wheels. They should be inspected regularly and replaced as
needed.
- Leaking Muffler -
You should have your muffler and exhaust system checked regularly.
- Tired Tires - Worn tires are dangerous. Proper inflation,
alignment and balance will extend tire life and help efficient fuel
economy.
